Big Idea:

I can be a good friend.

Jerusalem was an important city and the walls around it were falling down. When Nehemiah heard about the crumbing walls, he knew he needed to help. It was hard work, but Nehemiah was a good friend and helped rebuild the walls.

This Week’s Bible Passage: Nehemiah 1–2, 4–7

Talk About It

This week, talk about the different ways your kids can use their hands to help everywhere they go. They can hold the door, clear the table, and help throw away the trash. Celebrate all the ways they can be good friends by helping others.

Do you have something to say?
