Have a nighttime chat

Did you know that one of the best habits you can establish as a parent is to sit down with your kids at night and ask about their day? It’s the time of day when the world gets quiet, and kids are more likely to feel like talking.

This month, try sitting with your child before they go to bed and asking them if anything from their day is bothering them. Listen and encourage. End your time by praying together and asking God to help them trust him with their worries about the situation.

P.S. There are some great Bible verses in the “No Matter What” Jar that could also be helpful during these nighttime chats!
