Take advantage of the beautiful weather a few times this month and take your kids on a nature walk through your backyard, neighborhood, or a local park. Grab a bag to store all of your treasures, and gather things that are interesting.
Look for things like giant golden leaves, an interesting rock, or some fall flowers. When you get home, lay out all of your treasures on a table and talk about the interesting things that God made. Display the items in a basket and keep collecting all month long.
God makes GOOD things! Here are some questions to get your kids talking as you explore the treasures you find together.
What is one of your favorite things you see outside that God made?
Who did God make that you have fun with?
What is something very big that God made? What is something very small?
